She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarice Shong and Robert Shong; her son Joseph Hankes; her grandchildren, Alison Hankes (Mike Horr), Molly Hankes (Cory Schupay), Tim Hankes and Brian Hankes; her great-grandparents, Gigi, Emerson, Maeve and Sloane; Dora Mae, Howard and Alfred.
She is survived by: her husband Erwin; and her sons, John (Jacki), Jim (Vickie) and Jeff (Carlos Velez). She is also survived by The youngest of 4 siblings.
