He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Gibellin and Shirley Gibellin; and his sister Laura Krismer. He is survived by: his siblings, Nancy Rickards (Bob), Jean Gibellin and Jim Gibellin; his brother-in-law Nick Krismer; and his nieces and nephews, Mark Krismer, Katherine Benisck, Jackie Smith, Ryan Rickards, Brian Gibellin, David Gibellin and James Gibellin. He is also survived by friends, and Masonic brothers.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cooney Funeral Home (625 Busse Hwy, Park Ridge, IL 60068). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
