It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jesse J. Atilano (Chicago, Illinois), who passed away on August 1, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse and Esther; and his brother-in-law Jim Ariel. He is survived by: his children, Brandon Atilano (Cecilia), Jesse J. Jr. Atilano (Carla Aguilar), Simon Atilano (Aliya Camacho) and Charles Atilano; his grandchild Jesse J III; his siblings, Carmen Marose, Bonnie Ariel and Mark Atilano (Gina); his siblings' children, Michelle Marose, Mike Marose (Barbara), Vanessa Medlin (Dan), Natalie Wolfe (Nate) and Jason Atilano (Stephanie); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Issac, Isabel Medlin, Jake, Micaela Marose, Jayden and Harper Atilano.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM at the Foran Funeral Home - Summit (7300 W Archer Ave, Summit, IL 60501). A prayer will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary of Perpetual Help Church (1039 W 32nd St, Chicago, IL 60608).
