She is survived by: her children, Louis Michael and Barbara; her siblings, Lawrence, Lorraine Watkins, Lillian Broussard, Laura Harden, Lenora Godwin, Lois Davis, Barbara Harden and Nancy Bains; and her children, Sheila Smith (Ronald), Sharon Cobbs, Diondai Brown-Whitfield (Edwin Whitfield Jr.), Joseph Veal (Karen), Judith Stroger and G. Sean Crittleton. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, twelve great-great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
