He was predeceased by: his parents, Max and Norma; his sister Joanne Schwartz (late Neil); and his niece Amy Schwartz. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his siblings-in-law, Beth Pechous (late Robert), Ruth Jordan (Scott) and John Myrtle (Patti); and his nieces and nephews, Scott Schwartz (Darla), Rebecca Riggan (Cody), Tim Pechous, Cora Pechous, Kristina Kerper (Joey), Sarah Bernstein (Dwayne), Cody Jordan, Jeremy Myrtle (Leslie), Cory Myrtle (Erin) and Rebecca Johnson (Joel).
A funeral service was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Shalom Memorial Park (1700 W Rand Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004).
