He was predeceased by: his wife Miriam; his parents, Louis Shiffrin and Celia Shiffrin; and his brother Alan H. Shiffrin. He is survived by: his children, Daniel Shiffrin (Gracia), Allan Shiffrin (Jayne Papandreou), Lauren (Danny), Zachary (Samantha), Sara, Stella and Lucia; his great grandchildren, Rosemary, Reece and Mason; and his friend Jake Harris.
