He is survived by: his children, Richard Carlson (Rita) and Traci Carlson Wijas (John); his grandsons, Dylan and Jack Wijas; and his siblings, Bill Carlson (Nancy) and Stephanie Edwards (Bob). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
