He was loved and cherished by many people including : his spouse Chriselda Hatton; his children, John Hatton, Angie Czech (Matt) and Natalie Hatton; his grandchildren, Lexi, Jaxon and Roxy; his mother MaryAnn Hatton; and his siblings, Joe, Loretta, Lynn, Christine and Larry.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Hann Funeral Home (8230 S Harlem Ave, Bridgeview, IL 60455). A prayer was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 10:45 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St. Fabian Catholic Church (8300 S Oketo Ave, Bridgeview, IL 60455).
