John Kalanik Jr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Kalanik Jr. of Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on December 2, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Kalanik Jr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Liliana Kalanik Costa; and his brother Mark. He is survived by: his wife Lynn; his sons, John Kalanik (Julia) and Michael Kalanik; his granddaughter Olivia; his siblings, Karen Tennant (Scott) and David Kalanik; and his uncle David Rojas (Norma). He is also survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Josaphat Catholic Church (2311 N Southport Ave, Chicago, IL 60614).
