John leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. John’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew John will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Pattye Mocek; his children, John Robert Mocek (Nick Currie) and Elizabeth Hamner (Aaron); his sister BettyAnn Mocek (Adam Walker); his parents, John, Jr. Mocek (Moe) and Betty Mocek; and his cousins, Ruth Lubawy (Jim), Nancy Baty (late Jim) and Ellen Michael (late Tom).
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 132 E Elkhorn Ave, Estes Park, CO 80517.
