We announce the death of John R. Waxman of Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on September 27, 2026. John will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Waxman and Shirley Waxman; and his sister Andrea "Honey" Bruneau. He is survived by: his wife Janet "Jan"; his daughters, Holly Waxman and Jennifer Koshak (Filipp Kirik); his grandchildren, Cash, Quinn and Coco; his brother Scott Waxman (Madeleine); and his nieces and nephews, David Waxman (Briana), Lesley Schockett (Daniel) and Jeff Waxman. He is also survived by his family, friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 12:15 PM at the Shalom Memorial Funeral Home (1700 W Rand Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004).
