He is survived by: his wife Maria Margarita Gutierrez Tapia; his children, Juan Jr. Arreloa (Razija), Nidia Rubalcava (Angel) and Jose Antonio Arreola (Patty); his grandchildren, Xitllali, Angel Jr., Adam, Jacob, Moses, Hannah and Michael; and his siblings, Juana, Maria Elena, Miguel, Roberto, Rocio, Ulises, Miriam, Jesus, Alfredo, Rosa, Trinidad, Alejandra, Arturo, Belinda and Carolina. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
