It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of June M. Schweiger of Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on September 23, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank James Conrad and Eleanor Catherine Conrad; her husband Joseph Gerald Schweiger; her daughters, Sue and Mary Pat; and her siblings, Rita, Ellie (Gene) and Dan (Sue).
She is survived by: her children, Mike Schweiger (Kristin), Steve Schweiger, Marggy Lacy (Craig), Frank Schweiger and Joe Schweiger; her grandchildren, Katherine Miniat (Matt), Joe Lacy, Jack Lacy (Rachel) and James Calland (Bobbie); and her great grandchildren, Luke, Avery, Molly and James.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the 72nd Street Chapel (1010 N 72nd St, Omaha, NE 68114). A vigil service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ the King Catholic Church (654 S 86th St, Omaha, NE 68114).
