He is survived by: his spouse Nevenka; his children, Adriana Vucinic (Phillip) and Daniel Simandl; his grandchildren, Nina and Niko Vucinic; his brother Joe Simandl (Mia); and his godmother Felicia Faessel (Robert).
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 18th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Jerome Croatian Catholic Church (2823 S Princeton Ave, Chicago, IL 60616). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, July 18th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
