He was predeceased by: his mother Dr. Ruth Friend (Armstrong). He is survived by: his father John Friend; his daughters, Isabelle (Andrew), Austen and Cami; his grandson Leo; his sister Kim (Diane); his nieces, Kelsey, Corey and Alyssa; his nephew Robert; and his aunt Mary Armstrong.
