She is survived by: her sons, Antoine Laster (Ruby) of Kankakee, IL, Jovaris Laster (Whitney McKay) of Kankakee, IL, Tyrone Brooks of Kankakee, IL and Ladarious Tucker of Kankakee, IL; her close friend Freddie Scales of Pembroke Township, IL; her siblings, Kerry Laster (Suzett), Tony Laster (Carla Smith), Homer Laster, Denotra Martin (Michael), Betrina Stamps (Eugene) and Connie Laster Brown (Sidney); her brother-in-law Cornelius Williams; and her grandchildren, Alexis Speed, Emari Brooks, Javaria Laster, Javaya Laster, Jovaris Laster Jr., Jakira Laster, Jovarion Laster, Jayveion Laster, Jasiya Laster, Keshawn Tucker, Ladarrion Tucker and Shanika Smith. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lax Mortuary (187 S Greenwood Ave, Kankakee, IL 60901).
