He was predeceased by: his siblings, Kenneth, Shirley, Rita, Pam and Debbie.
He is survived by: his wife Betsy; his grandchildren, Alysa, Austin, Andrea, Taylor, Alex, Blake, Jaxen, Jacey, Jett, Jonah, Dylan, Hunter and Mia; his brother Nick Phillips of Michigan; and his pet Abbie.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Horner-Merritt Funeral Home (800 Monroe St, Mendota, IL 61342). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
