With sadness, we share the passing of Lawrence J. Selley of Chicago, Illinois. Lawrence, born on August 12, 1929, passed away on August 23, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Selley and Ellen Selley; his wife Anita Rico; his daughter Kathy; his children-in-law, Lesa and Joey; his granddaughter Carisa; and his great grandchildren, Anesa, Quintin, Brekkin and Trentin.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Acosta, Michael Selley, Martin Selley (Olga), Carla Espinoza (Ernest), Ellen Allington (Pete), Laura Dise (Bob) and Teresa Rojas; his siblings, Diane Scholten (Phil), Geri Danks, Trish Bassett (Lou) and Bill Selley; and his sister-in-law Chris Rico. He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren, thirty-nine great grandchildren.
