She was predeceased by : her parents, Madelyn Michiels and Charles Michiels; her grandparents, Alfonsina and Irving Marsh; and her brother Roy Michiels.

She is survived by : her son Nicholas Olenec (Susie Siller); her grandchildren, Stella and Nathan Olenec; her siblings, Nancy Moreno, Martin and Mark Michiels (Brenda Michiels); her nieces, Franny and Krystle Michiels; and her nephew Dr. Michael Moreno.
