He was predeceased by: his siblings, Mervin Taylor and Billie June Womack (Joe). He is survived by: his daughter Tracie Haynes (Gil) of Oklahoma City; his grandchildren, Nina Alexander of St. Louis Missouri, Lawrence Townsend and Laurielle Townsend; his close friend Dilbert Caldwell; his niece Stacey Womack; Kevin Taylor. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Harrison Funeral Chapel (1924 Central Ave, Alton, IL 62002). A burial was held on Thursday, January 22nd 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125).
