He is survived by: his children, Lissa Reyes (Ortiz), Louie Ortiz, Genoveva Ortiz, Lloren Ortiz and Catalina Ortiz; his grandchildren, N'digo Lobo, Genevieve Calix, Louie, Dominic, Jake Ortiz and Eric Aidan Reyes; and his siblings, Joseph Ortiz, Gloria Ortiz, Larry Ruiz, Sherry Ortiz-Lichtenberg and Nancy-Jo Szobodi.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to the VFW.
