She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Kurek and Martha Kurek. She is survived by: her daughters, Genevieve Carey (Lawrence) and Rebecca Barajas (late Michael); and her grandchildren, Michael Jr., Aster and Madelyn Barajas.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Opyt Funeral Home (13350 S Baltimore Ave, Chicago, IL 60633).
