She was predeceased by: her husband Jose P.; her daughter Rose; her parents, Miguel Contreras and Eugenie Contreras; her siblings, Susana Garcia, Isaias Contreras and Margarito Contreras; and her daughter Delilah.
She is survived by: her children, Angela Diaz (Julian), Margarita Klick (Paul) and Jose Becerra (Silvia); her grandchildren, Christina Diaz-Fiel (Jeremy) and Alejandro Becerra; and her children, Bandi, Suzie and Daisy.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Michael Coletta & Sons Funeral Home (544 W 31st St, Chicago, IL 60616). A prayer was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the St. Mary of Perpetual Help Church (1039 W 32nd St, Chicago, IL 60608). A burial was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162).
