Lydia Zarytsky Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lydia Zarytsky (Chicago, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 9, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Wasyl; her children, George Zarytsky (Marie) and Orysia Madden (late Patrick); her grandchildren, Lea Boler (Alex), Brian Madden, Taisa Madden, Adam Zarytsky (Kelly) and Nicolette Zarytsky; and her great grandchildren, Zara, Brody, Elliot and Sylvie.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Muzyka Funeral Home (2157 W Chicago Ave, Chicago, IL 60622). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Volodymyr Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral (2238 W Cortez St, Chicago, IL 60622).
