It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Fugate of Chicago, Illinois, born in Brunswick, Missouri, who passed away on May 30, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry W. Robinson and Ruth A. Robinson (Cooper); her husband Edgar Fugate, Jr.; her siblings, Willa Mae Walker, Mary Evelyn Brown, Charlotte Ganaway, Brenda Ganaway and Jerry Williams; and her aunts, Bertha Davis and Hazel Sutherland.

She is survived by: her daughter Sedell Mitchell Reynolds (Charles) of Chicago; her granddaughter Melissa Mitchell; her great grandchild Tray Shawn Mitchell of Chicago; her niece Gloria Pugh; and her nephew Vernell Rivera (Shawana Kea) of Chicago. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

“Margaret my memories go to when I was a little girl and u came from Chicago with sedell!! This cute little girl with ponytails! U would come and visit us in Detroit almost every summer. Ur aunt hazel and COTTRELL Southard looked forward to those visits as did I. I remember spending the night with u in Chicago to catch the train back to Detroit. U were always a very sweet and loving person. I will miss u. We didn't talk every day but our last conversation will be a memory I will cherish. Rest wel”
