She was predeceased by: her siblings, Alejandro Sepúlveda, Gladys and Thelma Sepúlveda; and her parents, María Berta Barrera and Eulogio Sepúlveda Muñoz.
She is survived by: her sons, Marcelo (Marianne Hansen Madariaga) and Cristián Madariaga (Lidia Soto Velásquez); her grandchildren, Marek, Gabriel, Nathaniel, José Tomás and María Paz Madariaga; her great grandchildren, Ezra Madariaga and Madden Downes; and her brother José Sepúlveda. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and their children.
