Maria Magdici Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maria Magdici of Chicago, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 23, 2026 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Maria may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Maria touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ioan Lupu and Lucrutia Lupu; and her husband Constantin Magdici. She is survived by: her children, Teodor Magdici, Harie Constantin Magdici and Timothy Magdici; and her siblings, Rafila Stoenescu, Ion Lupu, Simion Lupu and Lucretia Stancu. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
