She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Williams and E. H. Taylor Hay. She is survived by: her husband Murray; her children, Ellen Mautner (Stephen), Ben and Henry; her grandchildren, Murray D. Harwich, Jr., Murray David Harwich III, Lynne McAlevey (Michael), Isabelle and James; and her brother John Williams Hay. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Capital City Museum, Paul Sawyier Public Library, The Salvation Army, or a charity of your choice.
