He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Adams and Louise Adams (Morris) of Chicago, Illinois.; his wife Loretta Adams (Finch); and his siblings, William Benjamin, Anthony Adams, Vergie Dockery and Georgette Benjamin.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Pruitt (Mike-Mike), Dena Lawrence, Dianna Adams (Fatcake) and Kashima Adams (Tima); his granddaughter Kamya Marion; and his siblings, Henry Morris, James Adams, Christopher Adams and Kathleen Jimenez. He is also survived by nieces, nephews other family and friends.
