He was predeceased by: his parents, Winston Cater and Mazie Cater (Brookens); and his sister Victoria Cater Brown. He is survived by: his wife Anita; his siblings, Quinta Hale (Earl) of Antioch, CA, Patricia Linda Taylor of Chicago, IL, Kimberly Jackson (Andrew) of Antioch, TN, Samuel Morrell Cater and Gregory Cater (Renee) of Chicago, IL; his uncle Kermick Johnson of Yazoo City, MS; and his aunt Alberta Matthews of Battle Creek, MI. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law and friends.
