He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Mika and Priscilla Mika. He is survived by: his wife Josephine Mika; his sons, Keith (Kelly), Kevin and Kristopher Mika; his grandchildren, Thomas, Elizabeth and Joseph; his siblings, Douglas (Maria), Donald, Kurt Mika (Cecilia), Deborah Edmonds and Monica Ceffalio (George); and his brothers-in-law, Anthony and Ben Bottino (Ivana). He is also survived by 2 nieces and several nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Mike with The American Heart Association or the Chicago Community COVID-19 Response Fund.
