We announce the death of Michael Thomas Horner (Chicago, Illinois), who passed away on August 14, 2026, at the age of 71. He was predeceased by: his son Michael Horner Jr.; and his parents, Thomas Alfonso Horner and Hazel Bernice Horner (Harter). He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Stephanie Pavlik (Mick), Matthew Horner, Kallie Salerno (Michael) and Cody Horner (Abigail); his grandchildren, Tobias Horner, Aidan Pavlik, Emma Pavlik, Makayla Horner, Dominic Horner and Alexander Salerno; and his siblings, Allen Horner, Natalie Salsgiver and Carol Mammoser.
