He is survived by: his wife Charlyne; and his children, Julie Workman and Steven Michnick (Marci). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Mass was held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the St Lawrence Catholic Campus Center (1631 Crescent Rd, Lawrence, KS 66044).
