We announce the death of Michael J. Wayne (Chicago, Illinois), who passed away on September 14, 2026, at the age of 65. Michael will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harvey Wayne and Betty Wayne of Chicago, IL.; his son Anthony; his girlfriend Deirdre Quille; his siblings, Rita (Robert Novak), Robert (Marjorie Wayne) and Bernadette (Steve Walker); and his grandchildren, Rebecca (Dan Hartmann), Ashley (Mike Murphy), Timothy Knight, Madelyn, Hadley, Harper and Keegan. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Foran Funeral Home (7300 W Archer Ave, Summit, IL 60501). A prayer will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Daniel the Prophet Church (5358 S Nashville Ave, Chicago, IL 60638).
