We announce the death of Michael Robert Wehman Sr. of Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on September 18, 2026, at the age of 82. Michael will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Emily Wehman (Majercik); and his brothers, Bill, Dick and Thom. He is survived by: his father William Wehman; his wife Jeanne; his children, Michael, Scott (Christine) and Gretchen Ketels (Brad); his grandchildren, Henry, Zachary Wehman, August, Nathan and Walter Ketels; and his sisters, Sharon Rowland and Val Dolmage.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Raymond de Penafort Church (301 S I Oka Ave, Mt Prospect, IL 60056).
