She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellen Connon and Kenneth Connon; her husband Roy Nicodemus; her daughter Sandra Hyatte; her grandson Hal Jennings; and her siblings, Margie VanGilder and Kenneth Connon.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Lewis (Gordie) of Leo and Robert Nicodemus (Sally) of Columbus, IN; her sister Mary Schultz of Ontario; and her grandchildren, Drew, Chris Nicodemus, Ashley Jennings, Kara Snoke, Collin, Evan, Aaron, Marc Lewis and Mary Jennings. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Taylor Chapel United Methodist Church (10145 Maysville Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46835). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Taylor Chapel Ministries (10145 Maysville Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46835).
Memorials may be made to either Taylor Chapel Ministries or Byron Health Center to be donated to the employee emergency fund.
