She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin Weinstein; and her siblings, Esther Brown and Max Berzack. She is survived by: her children, Elaine Kernes (Jay) and David W. Weinstein; her grandchildren, Dr. Jennifer Kernes (Nicole Nodi), Dr. Jonathan Kernes, Arielle Roberts (Jake) and Jami Weinstein; and her great grandchild Chelsea Roberts.
