With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Nancy Delorto (Chicago, Illinois), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Nancy left this world on September 22, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas A Delorto; her parents, Ernest Skala and Florence Skala; and her siblings, Ernest Skala, Edward Skala (late Elaine), Irma Pettit (late Art), June Beata (late Aldo), Betty Malinow (late Sidney) and Robert Skala.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas M. Delorto and Karen Pierro (James); her grandchildren, Angela, Cara, Mia, Joseph, Anthony, Vincenzo and CJ; her great grandchildren, Dominic and Anthony; and her sister-in-law Diane Skala. She is also survived by grandma not only to her grandchildren but to the many bonus grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:15 AM at the Foran Funeral Home - Summit (7300 W Archer Ave, Summit, IL 60501). A prayer will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Star of the Sea Church (6435 S Kilbourn Ave, Chicago, IL 60629).
