He is survived by: his children, Sam Dakalis (Cindy) and Eleni Summers (Jerry); and his grandchildren, Nikolaos, Maria and Katherine.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church (601 S Central Ave, Chicago, IL 60644). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 12:15 PM to 1:00 PM at the Elmwood Cemetery (2905 Thatcher Ave, River Grove, IL 60171).
