She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughter Alexandra Cardoso (John Lew); her grandchildren, Mela Lew and John Lew; her siblings, Tanya Barkas (Jim) and James Barkas; her niece Vera Newhouse (Robert); and her nephews, Jacob and Andrew Newhouse.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Inside Sts. Volodymyr & Olha Ukrainian Catholic Church (2245 W Superior St, Chicago, IL 60612).
