He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Murphy and Nora Murphy; and his brother John Murphy. He is survived by: his siblings, Ann, Hugh (Laura), Kathleen Froehlich (Richard), Mary (late James Hollander) and Brian (Michelle); his nieces and nephews, Anthony, Andrew (Kate), Alex Murphy (Sarah), Meagan, Tara, Colin Froehlich, Alyssa, Katie, Kerry Hollander, Ashlin and Ella Murphy; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Finnegan, Wyatt, Gideon, Mia, Noah and Eli Murphy.
