Peggy will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Peggy’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Shevlin and Frances Shevlin (Reedy); and her siblings, Jean Marie Hills (Richard) and Carol Griffith. She is survived by: her siblings, Mary Clare Loftus (late Jerry), Patricia Shevlin, Eileen Dowd and Jim Shevlin (Jan); her niece Kris Hills; and her nephew Jason Dowd.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Cletus Church (600 W 55th St, La Grange, IL 60525). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
