He is survived by: his spouse Sandy; his children, Peter Joseph (Gia) and Leslie; his grandchildren, Joseph, Nicholas Kish, Luka and Natalie Schurla; and his sister Helen Segvich. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, the extended family.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 14th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 15th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 9:20 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Jerome Croatian Catholic Church (2823 S Princeton Ave, Chicago, IL 60616). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 15th 2026 at the St. Mary Cemetery W 87th.
