He was predeceased by: his parents, Nancy A. Smith (Ruel) and John E. Smith; his former wife Mary (Rys); his daughter Susan; and his siblings, Jack (Pat), Don (Diane), Nancy, Rosemary Bryan (Paul) and Dorothy Ericson.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Parat; his daughters, Nancy (Cindy) and Lynne Radabaugh (Robert); and his grandchildren, Ashlie Ray (Keenan) and Noah Mooney (Alma).
He donated many hours of his pluming knowledge, skills, and labor to keep the church and school in great working order.
