He is survived by: his children, Spencer (Leigh) of Sarasota, FL, Claire and Madeleine of Chicago; his former wife Melissa Oosterbaan; his siblings, Carole Bunte, Rose Costello of St. Paul, MN, Dorothy King (John Protasiewicz) of Cleveland Heights, OH, Daniel King (Karen) of Atlanta, GA and Stephen (Christy) of Wilmette; and his sisters-in-law, Margaret King of Chicago and Dobie Edmunds of Cloverdale, CA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, their spouses and children.
He participated in numerous long distance charity rides and popular RAGBRAI.
