He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Jessica Alvarez; his siblings, Blanca "Chita" Fuentes and Juan "Paco" Alvarez; his wife Jacklyn Aurora Alvarez; his parents, Apollinaria Gatica and Marco Alvarez; and his siblings, Agusto Alvarez and Graciela Gatica. He was also cherished by two sons, two granddaughters, four grandsons, and three great-grandsons.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Christian Funeral Home (3526 N Cicero Ave, Chicago, IL 60641). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
