She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hastreiter and Theresa Hastreiter. She is survived by: her sons, Mark Stephens (Robyn) of Tinley Park and Mike Stephens (Pam) of Bel Air, Maryland; and her grandchildren, Jason, Hannah, Jacob and Ryan.
Sandy remained involved in her community—volunteering at a local resale shop and participating in charity walk/run fundraisers supporting breast cancer research in honor of friends.
