We announce the death of Scott Edward Schaive of Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on October 6, 2026, at the age of 75. Scott will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Scott will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Scott’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Schiave and Dolores Schiave. He is survived by: his wife Anne Hamblin Schiave; his daughter Eva Small (Jeffrey); his grandchildren, Arabella and Julian; and his sibling Thomas Schiave (Kathy).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Episcopal Church (306 S Prospect Ave, Park Ridge, IL 60068).
