He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sr. and Arnetta; and his brothers, Robert "Pete" Wilcher, Jr., Johnnie "Bae Bae" Wilcher and Billy Wilcher.
He is survived by: his wife Clara J. Wilcher; his children, Emma Devine, Phyllis Franklin (Belbin Tim), Malissa Wilcher, Latonya Wilcher and Sylvester Wilcher, Jr.; and his sisters, Flossie Byrd (Willie), Artis Robinson (Lewis) and Annie Browder (Clyde). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and cherished friends.
