He is survived by: his wife Silvia; his children, Silvia Marquez (late Rodolfo), Adrian Sandoval (Maria), Marcia Rodriguez (Matthew) and Leonora Wheeler (Christopher); his grandchildren, Jesse (Bee), Erica, Sandra Marquez, Marixa (Ryan), Janel, Itxaro Sandoval, Matthew, Andrew, Nicholas Rodriguez, Sergio EJ, Michael, Corbin and Cora Wheeler; his great grandchildren, Adrianna and Dominic Teodoro; and his siblings, Gabino and Manuel.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Knollcrest Funeral Home (1500 S Meyers Rd, Lombard, IL 60148). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary of Angels Catholic Church (1850 N Hermitage Ave, Chicago, IL 60622).
